MEGAN ELIZABETH SMITH

My name is:

WANNA KNOW MORE?

ORLANDO, FL

I’m from:

My journey into the world of fashion, fibers, and all things sewing began at an early age. As a dress up fanatic in my childhood, my love of for clothes has always been consistent. In my high school years, that same love of dress up brought me to the performing arts where I was not only behind the curtains, but on the stage as well.

At the Savannah College of Art and Design, I narrowed my scope to focus solely on fashion design. By my senior year, I had crafted my magnum opus (for now, of course) which you are welcome to take a look at right here. This is also the time where I found my love for exhibition and experience design through collaborating with SCAD FASH.

Since then, my professional career has taken me back to my roots in the performing arts, and with my newly equipped education, I’ve been kicking ass and taking names (handing out safety pins and doing adrenaline pumping quick changes) But what’s the difference really?

When I’m not backstage, you can find me working on a wide range of passion projects, including building immersive experiences for nightlife afters or painting historical buildings for City District Orlando!
